Onitama is a strategy board game for two players. An elegant and simple game of martial tactics. Designed by Shimpei Sato.

Cards are turned into square wooden tiles. Each tile indicates possible movements and the right to make the first move.
A tiles not used in the game are built into the playing field. This mechanic allows you to vary the playing field and play not only 5x5 field.
The tiles are made of thermal maple wood. A symbols on the tiles are inlaid with different types of wood - black walnut, ramin, bamboo.

5x5 field size - 277x277 mm / 10.9"x10.9"
The altar tiles are also made of thermal maple wood with inlays of juniper wood.
This set includes 6 additional promo cards: Steer/Lobster, Cat/Serow, Goat/Sheep.
The pieces are made of oak wood and ash wood and have felt on the bottom. The pieces are very weighted.
The height of the Master is 55 mm /2.16"; the Pupil is 32 mm / 1.25"
The Pupil piece are designed so that they do not roll away, but will stand on their “feet” from any position.
