Fidchell or Gwyddbwyll (translated from both languages as Wooden Wisdom) was a board game popular among the ancient Celts. Fidchell was played between two people who moved an equal number of pieces across a board.
Material - solid juniper wood with live egde. Board size - 325x355 mm / 12.8"x13.9", thickness 26 mm / 1" Board weight is about 1.1 kg Thin lines are hand cut.
The King or Navel Stone made from lapis lazuli stone 28 mm/1,1" diameter. Wooden pieces is about 18 mm/0,71" diameter.
