Traditional Japanese Games — Folding Chu Shogi Set
A series of traditional Japanese games in a folding format, handcrafted from thick European walnut. The series includes Chu Shogi and Go sets (see my other products).
When purchasing both sets, a Ban Sugoroku board is included as a gift.
Shogiban
A traditional Shogiban (shogi board) with a 12×12 playing field.
The Shogiban is made of solid European walnut and finished with linseed oil and wax.
The board is hand-carved, with finely cut lines. The delicate lines allow you to appreciate the natural beauty, grain, and texture of the walnut.
Foldable Board

Maple Wood Pieces (Koma)
The pieces are made of maple wood, hand-cut, and feature laser-engraved kanji characters.
- Initial arrangement of pieces in a two-character block style
- Promoted pieces feature a one-character block style
- 92 wooden pieces + 4 spare pawns
- Piece thickness: 10 mm
- 3 different piece sizes to indicate their relative value
Wooden Storage Boxes
Two solid oak wood boxes are included for storing the pieces, with one box for each player.
