Onitama is a two-player strategy board game, an elegant and simple game of martial tactics designed by Shimpei Sato.

The cards are transformed into wooden tiles. Each tile indicates the possible moves and determines who makes the first move.
The tiles are made of hardwood. The symbols are inlaid using different types of wood, including black walnut and bamboo.

The pieces are made of beech wood. Each piece is 40 mm / 1.55" tall.
Sensei's Ring
To designate the Master, simply place the Sensei's Ring on any of your pieces. This reflects the principle that anyone can become a Master.

The tiles feature markings that indicate their original compatibility with movement and wind tiles. This system allows movement tiles to be used independently of wind tiles, adding more variety to the gameplay. It also allows different wind tiles to be paired with different movement tiles within this expansion.
