The Tak game contains a large number of playing pieces. While exploring different folding board designs, including board-box concepts, I found that storing the pieces separately from the board is the most convenient solution.
The principle is simple: open it and start playing.
In contrast, another version of the Tak set has a modular board. Assembling the playing field from individual elements becomes part of the game itself, adding a contemplative, philosophical element to the experience.
