Onitama is a two player strategy board game. An elegant and simple game of martial tactics. Designed by Shimpei Sato.

Cards are transformed into square wooden tiles. Each tile indicates possible moves and the right to make the first move.
Tiles not used in the game are built into the board. This mechanic allows you to vary the board and not only play the 5x5 board.
The tiles are made of oak wood. A symbols on the tiles are inlaid with different types of wood.

The altar tiles are made in a contrasting color.
This set includes 10 additional promo cards: Steer/Lobster, Cat/Serow, Goat/Sheep, Hornet, Moth/Butterfly (changed) and Nessie.
