LIBERO is football transformed into a board strategy game: minimal rules, no elements of chance, and maximum room for tactical calculation.
But LIBERO is not a simulation of real football. It is an abstract embodiment of the game: space, movement, pressure, and the moment when one team gains the advantage over the other.
LIBERO is an abstract strategy game created by Alfred Schmittger in 1984. Wooden edition by WoodIdeas.
LIBERO invites you to see football from another perspective - as a game of space, choice, and calculation. There are no predetermined combinations and no elements of chance: only the field, two teams, and the decisions of their players.
