KNJO is an abstract strategy game for two people, where players compete to be the first to place 4 pieces in the same line, either vertically or horizontally or diagonally. KNJO designed by Erick Reyes.
Wooden tabletop version by Wood!deas with permission of the author.
Redesigned board. Now there are no squares, but dots along which the pieces move. The lines indicate possible directions of movement. The dots are recesses that fit the ball comfortably.
To keep the game moving quickly, the numbered tiles are held in place by magnets. For the numbers, I used the same writing as on a dice, with some asymmetry.
Solid sycamore wood board. (The board has visual features such as knots. These features are stabilized with epoxy.)
Board size is 214x230x41 mm / 8.4"x9.05"x1.6".
The spherical shaped wooden pieces are made of maple wood. Diameter 24 mm / 0.95". White pieces - Maple wood natural color. Black pieces - Maple wood stained black color.
The numbered tiles are made of birch wood. The pips are black walnut inlays. Magnets used.
Full set contains Board, 6+6 pieces, 7 numbered tiles.
Full set weight is 1.55 kg.
